Class levels

What level quilter am I?

We have had many students ask "what level am I at?" or "Do you think I am ready to take that class?" We have added "Levels" to our classes so that it will be easier to find a class that works for you. We want you to have fun, enjoy your class and feel successful. We hope these levels will make it easier to register for classes.

Beginner: No experience needed, brand new at sewing or quilting and eager to learn! This student could also have some sewing experience, but not with quilting. This student may have made one quilt, self-taught but would benefit from formal class instructions.

Advanced Beginner: Student has taken at least one beginner quilt class or has made at least two quilts, self-taught and is looking to learn something new.

Intermediate: Student has taken several quilting classes, small project classes, is very familiar with quilting techniques, has made several quilts.

**Please note that this is simply a guide and a suggestion. Please feel free to inquire about a class, if you are still unsure. We are careful to think of each student individually and we will find a class that's right for you!

Know your Machine- All Levels

SATURDAY, MARCH 22ND: 10:30AM-1PM

Do you have a sewing machine lying around you want to learn to use? Are you looking to take up quilting, but need help with the basics first? Then you should sign up for one of our "know your machine" classes.

The only materials needed is your sewing machine and the manual.

The cost is only $55! Payment is required to reserve your spot. Space is limited, so sign up soon! See registration options below. (This class is intended for the adult learner. Please see our kid classes and homeschool program options for kids ages 9-16.)

**If you do not have a machine yet, don't stress! We have BERNINA sewing machines for sale or to rent!

Cancellation Policy

Classes must be paid in full to reserve your spot and are non-refundable.

Night Owl Quilting Studio requires 72-hour notice for any cancellation, in order to receive a class credit. Class credit will expire 1 year from date of cancellation. You may cancel by phone or email.

If Night Owl Quilting Studio needs to cancel any class for any unforeseeable circumstance ie: health/weather, you will receive a full refund for the class in the manner in which you paid.

Sit & Sew

Saturday

Do you work all week and you don't have enough time to quilt? Or maybe you don't have the right space to quilt with your friends? Well, this could be perfect for you!! Staring in April we will be offering an open sew on the 1st Saturday of every month, 10:30am-3:30pm. The cost is only $10/pp. Scroll down to find the month you would like to attend and register before it fills up!!

Wednesday

Are you retired and looking to get out of the house and sew with other like-minded quilters? Do you need to escape housework and boring chores for a day? Well, this is something fun for you!! One Wednesday a month we have an open sew from 10:30am-3:30pm and it's only $10. Scroll down to find the session you want to join and get registered. Don't wait long....they fill up fast!
